Send in the Clowns

The Bureau of the Public Debt sure did take it on the chin.

The bureau tried to hire a professional funnyman – a clown of sorts – to improve productivity in the workplace. The media and politicians criticized their "waste of taxpayer money."

That compelled me to come to the bureau's defense.
