An End to Buffoonish Fathers



That's my mother and father above -- a photo shot 10 years ago but they still look just as they do in the photo.

My father is not a perfect man, but he was, and is, a man -- not one of the wimpy, buffoonish dads portrayed on the tube. And not one who has become a wimpy, buffoonish dad in real life, as too many real dads (and men) have allowed themselves to become, at the insistence of women.

It's time for men to reembrace the values fellows such as my father embraced.
