A Dog Named Abner

You got to love the power of the press... I wrote a piece about a fellow named Gorman and his dog, Abner. It's a touching story about an amazing place, Little Sisters of the Poor in Pittsburgh, PA.
As it goes, a reporter at KDKA News in Pittsburgh has a sister in New York. His sister read this column in her paper and sent it to him (he didn't see it in the Pittsburgh paper, where it also appeared). He went and shot a fine news feature. You can watch the story here.
